New Username Assignment Rule and Global Variable

Assignment Rules now support distinguishing between usernames and email addresses. This is particularly useful for customers using Microsoft Entra ID, where User Principal Names (UPNs) may differ from email addresses.

We’ve also introduced a new $USERNAME global variable, which can be used in place of the existing $EMAIL variable wherever appropriate.

When viewing a user in the Users tab, both their email address and username will now be displayed for reference.
